Introducing AQ Pay: Simplifying the Payments Process – Q & A from our Latest Webinar

Simplifying the Payments Process with Click-to-Pay Access for your Customers in AQ

We recently launched AQ Pay, powered by CurrencyPay, a solution that enables dealers to provide their customers with instant access to online payment options from an AQ quote or invoice. Customers can submit payment via credit, debit, or ACH bank transfer, simplifying the payments process, and helping you get paid faster.

Team AQ hosted a webinar on May 14 to introduce AQ Pay, and demonstrate how easy it is to onboard your company with Currency and start taking advantage of this solution quickly. If you missed the webinar, you can view the recording here. Instant financing will be available soon through Currency – stay tuned! In the meantime, we answer some of the most frequently asked questions submitted during the webinar.

AQ company admins can navigate to “Company Settings” in AQ. From there, you select “Payments & Financing” and submit an application through AQ. You need access to identity, business, and banking information for your company to process the application.

Is this available for AQ customers outside of the U.S.?

What happens if a transaction needs to be voided or refunded?

If there is a mistake with a transaction, it can be voided by you, the merchant, on the same day it was charged through the Currency Pay portal.  If the charge posts to the account overnight, refunds can be issued through the portal at any time. In terms of chargebacks, Currency can help facilitate the communication between the bank, but like all processes, Currency does not have any say in whether a chargeback is won or lost. You can submit the required documents through your Currency portal and view the status of disputes there as well.

How do I know that the transactions through AQ Pay are secure?

Currency is a fully PCI Compliant DSS Level 1 Payment Facilitator. Currency has a heightened fraud detection that can be turned on free of charge. This includes address verification and CVV match. To activate this feature, talk with Currency when you sign up.

The AQ product team is currently researching solutions for inclusion on the AQ product road map to support this functionality in the future.

Once a transaction is processed, how long does it take to get the disbursement?

All transactions run on a given day are batched out of the CurrencyPay portal that night. It can take up to 48 hours for this money to post to your account. Ask Currency about overnight settlement if you would like expedited payment. Currency can turn this feature on at any time.
