Quick Tips: Simplify Remote Working in AQ

We’ve all been reminded over the last several weeks that we tend to be creatures of habit. It's easy to get cozy with the way we already do things. The tools you use to do your job every day, including AQ, could be one of those things. Right now, we are challenged to manage our time even better than before, so we wanted to share some quick tips for AQ you may have forgotten - or didn’t know about. Maybe you’ve already found the fastest way from Point A to Point B in AQ, but humor us for the next few minutes and discover some new ways to simplify working in AQ - from anywhere.

GO BEYOND THE SEARCH BOX

Recently, AQ debuted “new search” which includes some enhancements that help AQ locate what you are looking for – faster. Using the advanced search functionality, you have access to filters like “manufacturer”, “brand”, and “specification”. Utilizing these filters will help refine your search results so you can get to what you’re looking for quickly. You can access the new search using the toggle switch located on the top of your AQ tool bar. New search will become the default search in AQ on May 13th so, it’s a great time to get started!

NEW COVID-19 CATEGORIES AND KEYWORDS

As our industry shifts its focus during the COVID-19 crisis, AQ has added three new product categories to AQ. Now you can track down the in-demand items like Safety Shields, Forehead Thermometers, and Safety Masks - and the manufacturers that list them - easily. You can also search using the keywords “Coronavirus”, “COVID-19” and “Personal Protective Equipment” (or “PPE”) to find these products.

USE THE MATCH FEATURE TO COMPARISON SHOP

The Match feature helps you easily make product comparisons. AQ searches its hundreds of thousands of listed products and finds similar, sorted items. This makes it easy to view comparable products quickly and make the selection that best suits your customer’s needs. Look for the binoculars on the AQ tool bar – we bet you find new manufacturers and products you didn’t know about!

THERE'S AN APP FOR THAT!

Available for Android and iOS, AQ GO is the easiest way to access all of AQ's nearly one million products from your mobile device. You can create, modify, and send quotes from your kitchen table, couch, or whatever creative set up you have going on at home. Search “AutoQuotes” in the App Store or Google Play store to get started.
