If we’ve learned anything over the last several months, it’s the right time to look for ways to streamline how we work. Applying AQ’s search filters as you navigate AQ’s vast product database is an effortless way to discover new manufacturers and products that can bring value to your customers.
AQ CPQ has several filter options available you may already be familiar with, but we want to share more about AQ’s two newest filters: The ‘UL’ and ‘Rebates’ filters.
Locate UL-certified Equipment Easily
AQ recently partnered with UL, a leading equipment certification company, to assist manufacturers with introducing products to new markets, and to provide an easy way for AQ customers to locate UL-certified products listed on AQ. UL offers certification for foodservice equipment safety standards including, electric, fire, mechanical safety, and equipment sanitation.
If you’re an AQ-listed manufacturer and you have AQ-listed products that are newly UL-certified, make sure you submit that information to the Content Services team at content@AQ-FES.com, so that we can get your product listing up to date.
Search Energy-Saving Equipment that’s Eligible for Instant Rebates
Rebates are a great way for dealers to pass on savings to customers without decreasing your margins on equipment sales. Through our partnership with Energy Solutions, we’ve added a ‘Rebates’ badge on all energy-efficient equipment eligible for instant rebates through the Energy Solutions’ Instant Rebates! program. Currently, utility companies in eleven different U.S. states are participating in Instant Rebates! program, so if you sell equipment to operators in those states, you can quickly enroll in the program and start taking advantage of rebates for the benefit of you and your customers.

For those of you that focus on design as part of the quoting and sales process, there are three filters available to get right to the products that have the CAD objects, Revit families, and 3D drawings you need for your design project.
Preferred & Approved Manufacturer
Do you have some go-to manufacturers building equipment and supplies your customers prefer? To ensure that those manufacturers and products are populating at the top of your search results, AQ admins can mark those manufacturers as “preferred/buying group” or “approved” using manufacturer settings. Preferred manufacturers will list first, followed by approved manufacturers in your search results. Visit the AQ Help Center here to learn more.
