Mid-Year Update from AQ’s CEO, Jim Contardi

To our Valued Customers:

Earlier this month, you might have received the announcement of my appointment as the new CEO of AQ. While still in my first month, I am writing to briefly introduce myself and share my thoughts on why I am excited to lead AQ into the future.

Having led a number of tech companies in a variety of verticals, I join AQ with good sense of how quickly technology evolves and how that affects the way business gets done in different industries. This also gives me perspective on the role that AQ has played in this industry and in your business over the last 29 years.  Your support of AQ has created this valuable asset and I take seriously the role of stewarding the next chapter of AQ’s growth and innovation. I am energized to lead a group of passionate people who care about our customers and are dedicated not just to AQ’s success, but to yours as well.

Going forward, we will be making investments in people, process and products. As an example of people investment, we have recently added dedicated resources to Customer Success to help you maximize the value you get from the AQ platform. On the process front, we are modernizing our agreements with more rigorous protections for you around privacy and data rights.

And behind the scenes, we are finalizing new products and features that were introduced at NAFEM.  Here is a quick update as we move into our final phase of development:

  • AQ GO, our mobile solution, will launch this summer and give our users in the U.S. and the U.K. an effective way to ‘work on the go’
  • The AQ Designer Plug-In for AutoDesk® Revit® is currently in user testing and will launch later this year in combination with the release of AQ Designer 2020
  • SpecPath integration – Working with our partners at MAFSI, this tool facilitates the conversion of SpecPath projects into dealer quotes and will be available in late summer
  • AQ View – A reporting tool for manufacturers that will create visibility into the effectiveness of their products published in AQ; this will be released later this year as we launch a new customer portal

These are products that were driven directly by customer input, so we are excited to deliver them.  I am working closely with the AQ team to build on the energy and momentum created over the last several months and I look forward to spending time connecting with you, our customers and partners, to continue the collaboration that inspires our work.

In the meantime, I invite you to hear more about the future of AQ on a live webinar I am hosting on Wednesday, July 17 at 11 a.m. ET. I will address our priority areas of focus, my thoughts on the future of AQ and take questions from you.

Again, I thank you for your continued support of AutoQuotes.

Best regards,

Jim Contardi
CEO, AutoQuotes
