The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy recently announced that it has awarded ITW Food Equipment Group its ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year — Sustained Excellence Award for 2021. The Sustained Excellence award is the highest honor bestowed by the ENERGY STAR program.
ITW has made measurable strides to expand its efforts in developing energy-efficient equipment through each of its brands, having introduced 48 new ENERGY STAR-certified models in 2020. Many of these changes include products in an affordable range that provide tech-friendly features which drive long-term savings. Hobart, an ITW brand, launched a new ENERGY STAR-certified Ventless Rack-Conveyor dish machine with an energy recovery system that lowers the amount of energy consumed by 30% per rack when compared to competitor models.
