How to Set Deviated Pricing
Did you know you can set deviated prices on the items in the catalog? This allows you to set your own list, discount, net or markup on a per item basis. This can be particularly useful when you want to encourage sales of overstocked inventory in your warehouse of a particular item, or when receiving a special list price or discount from a manufacturer on a particular item. Deviated prices on individual items can also be restricted to a particular customer. This allows you to set a discount or markup that's applied only when the item is added to a quote that includes that customer.
To set a deviated price on a specific item you must first locate it in the catalog.
Once located right click on the item and select ‘Edit Prod' from the pop-up menu.
Next, go to the ‘Pricing' tab and click the ‘Add Deviated Price' button. Here you can fill in the area(s) you wish to deviate.
Once you're done click ‘Ok' to save and close your changes.
The item will now apply the deviated price when added to a project.
