Rename a Project
In AQ, you have the ability to rename a project at any time. Changing a project name can be very helpful when working with duplicate projects and organizing your project list. In the application there are two places where you can rename your project: 1) from the "Projects" screen or 2) from within an open project.
Renaming a Project from the "Projects" Screen:
- Click on the "Projects" tab in the bottom panel of AQ. (By default, this is the first screen after logging in to AQ.)
- In the main window of the "Projects" screen, highlight the project that you would like to rename.
- In the "Details" panel, located to the right of the main window, locate the "Project Name" section.
- The current name of your project will be displayed in bold under title of the section. To change the name, simply click into the text box, and type in the new name for your project.
- Click on another project in the main window to save.
Renaming a Project from Within an Open Project:
- Click on the "Projects" tab in the bottom panel of AQ. (By default, this is the first screen after logging in to AQ.)
- In the main window of the "Projects" screen, double click on the project that you would like to open. (You can also right click on a project and select the "Open" option from the menu)
- In the "Details" panel, located to the right of the main window, locate the "Project Name" section.
- The current name of your project will be displayed in bold under title of the section. To change the name, simply click into the text box, and type in the new name for your project.
- To save, click on the "Save" button, located in the "Home" section, of the top ribbon.
