AutoQuotes Tech Tuesday – Exporting Project Data

How to Export Project Data

In a past article we answered the question, How Do I Export to QuickBooks? Today we would like to review exporting your project data so it can be utilized in other accounting software packages, your ERP, or backend system.

We first need to open a project and go to the Export/Import tab. Once open we will look for the section in the ribbon at the top of our window titled ‘Accounting Export'. Clicking the button within this panel will export the project data using the selected export template and its parameters. The current template associated with the button will have its name displayed within the panel. i.e. TRX, Generic, SODEXO, SAGERO, etc

The export template and the parameters associated with it can only be set and changed by an admin level user at your company. These settings then filter down to all other AutoQuotes users at the company.

To change the template that's linked to the button or to change other export parameters associated with this button please see our more in-depth article here. How Can I Export Project Data?
