AutoQuotes Tech Tuesday – Customer Specific Pricing

How to add Customer Specific Pricing?

Customer specific pricing allows a user to pre-define the discount and/or markup used when quoting a specific vendor's items to a specific customer. Unlike deviated pricing, customer specific pricing is set at the company level within the contacts section of AQ and not within the catalog. To set up customer specific pricing do the following:

First, go to the contact section of AQ, locate your customer, right-click on their name, and select ‘Edit Company' from the right-click menu.

When the ‘Edit Company' window opens, click the ‘Customer Specific Pricing' tab, add a manufacturer to the company list, and set a discount and/or markup for the manufacturer.

That's it! Now when adding the customer to a project and quoting items for the selected vendors the discounts and markups defined under customer specific pricing will be used.
