FES Tech Leader Launches Revit Integration with Functionality Unique to AQ
AutoQuotes, the leading supplier of technology solutions and services for the foodservice equipment and supplies (FES) industry, today announced the expansion of its AQ Design Solutions suite (AQD) with the launch of AQ Designer Plug-In for Autodesk® Revit® for the North American and UK markets. The new Plug-In integrates AQ into Revit, putting expedited Revit design within reach for AQ customers as part of the quoting and sales process. These upgrades place AQ on the cutting edge in design solutions for FES market.
The integration enables users to leverage the power of Revit and AQ and gives them access to AQ’s exclusive Parameter Tool, which allows batch editing including the addition, merge, and deletion of parameters and thus eliminating the manual editing process common in Revit. The tool also gives users the ability to create and edit custom parameter files. AQD users can access more than 50,000 Revit families published in AQ to auto populate designs from AQ projects. Projects can also be imported from Revit into AQ allowing users to create designs in the workflow they prefer.
